This is the premier NSW Touch Football senior representative event and is conducted in Port Macquarie each year commencing on the first Friday in December. As the title suggest this is the State Championship and open to all NSW Affiliated Members.
Although this is a representative event, one of the great aspects of it is that there are now divisions to cater for all levels with the Men’s, Women’s & Mixed Open categories offering up to four divisions (Championship, Plate, Bowl & Shield). The age categories with Under 20’s being the youngest and senior divisions from Over 30’s in the Men’s, Women’s & Mixed all the way to Women’s 45’s & Men’s 60’s.
N.B The minimum age limit for Under 20’s is 14 years old and Opens categories is 15 years old.

Accommodation should be booked as soon as possible. It is difficult to give a good estimate for accommodation costs; accommodation will be scarce for the weekend.

It is a requirement that each Affiliate keeps adequate records of Team Management Accreditations including:
The following links give information about applying for the Working With Children Check application. A Working With Children Check is a requirement for people who work or volunteer in child-related work. It involves a national criminal history check and a review of findings of workplace misconduct.
The result of a Working With Children Check is either a clearance to work with children for five years, or a bar against working with children. Cleared applicants are subject to ongoing monitoring and relevant new records may lead to the clearance being revoked. The Working With Children Check is fully portable so it can be used for any paid or unpaid child-related work in NSW for as long as the worker remains cleared.
After filling out the online application you will receive an application number via the email address you supplied in the online application. To complete the application, you must attend a NSW motor registry or NSW Council Agency to verify your identity. For volunteer work, the fee is $0. You will receive your WWCC clearance number within 4 weeks of proving your identity.

Penrith Cub photo is traditionally taken the Sunday before State Cup, 8am.
To help with the organisation of our cub photo, we recommend teams have this morning reserved (have a training session after the photo). This is also an opportunity to collect the teams playing gear.

Ball Pick Up will take place at Port Panthers on Thursday from 3:00pm-6:30pm. Each Affiliate will receive one ball per team. During this time, all Player Rosters will need to be verified - ensuring the names and numbers listed are correct.
When your Rosters are verified, please be mindful of clause 9.1.4 of the 2025-26 NSWTA General Conditions of Entry: All Team Rosters must be provided with all player names, correct jersey numbers and returned to NSWTA via the information outlined in the timeline of that specific event. No player is to take the field until they have registered, and the team roster updated and submitted to NSWTA. Teams found breaching this condition of entry will automatically forfeit all games until this process is completed.
Parking passes will also be distributed to Affiliates during Ball Pick Up. The number of passes your Affiliate is eligible to receive depends on the number of teams you have participating at the event. Quantities will be confirmed at Ball Pick Up.
If a member of your Affiliate is unable to attend Ball Pick Up, balls and parking passes can be picked up on Friday morning - from 7:00am-7:45am at Tournament Control.
It is imperative that Clause 4.1.1of the General Conditions of Entry is adhered to for all games across the weekend: All Affiliate playing uniforms are to be correctly numbered, be of the same design and artwork and must be correctly worn for all games of competition; the approved Affiliate Hat/s are the only headwear to be worn. Team Management and Officials may only wear one type of uniform and cannot be mismatched in type.
If any Player, Coach, Manager, Official from an Affiliate is observed by a Tournament Official and deemed to be non-compliant for uniform requirements whilst participating, they will be requested to leave the field of play to meet compliance before returning to participate.
Additionally, non-compliance with the uniform requirements will be reported to the Affiliate Coordinator and penalties may apply for further non-compliance.
